Helena Reimer Funeral Service

The following video is from the family funeral service held on March 21, 2021 for Helena Reimer of Tabor Home in Morden. Helena also held a special place in the hearts of many in the Morden Sommerfeld Mennonite Church congregation. Due to COVID-19 restrictions; the family requested her memorial to be recorded for publication on this website. Unfortunately professional videographers were unavailable for this day, so this amateur recording was our best option.

I also want to make mention that one of Helena’s favorite songs was “Gott ist Die Liebe” which she often sang. It was not sung at her funeral, so it has been included here as an introduction to the video. Credit for this beautiful acapella rendition goes to the Eagle Valley Ministries Church at Libby Montana.
