May Long Weekend

This morning I walked out onto our verandah to greet the day that God in His grace has given us. The sun shining, the wind calm, the birds in the trees and the frogs in our pond were joining their voices in a mighty chorus of praise! A glorious day indeed! My encouragement to each of you today is; let’s take time to focus on the abundant  blessings that we can still enjoy at the hand of our almighty God! Yes, I realize we have some restrictions, and some of our freedoms are limited, yet we still have so much to be thankful for. May you all have have a great weekend and let’s remember “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it”. Psalm 118:24

For those that follow the daily scripture readings and enjoy the included hymns; will have noticed that I posted the last of Katie and Della’s organ/piano instrumentals this past week. Don’t despair, there’s more music from the Morden congregation on it’s way! The Kroeker family has recorded a bunch of selections for us to enjoy, featuring Ms. Brenda on accordion and organ, Mrs. Brenda at the piano, and Bob on bass. New music should start showing up within the next day or so. As I mentioned in an earlier post, more of our local talent plan to contribute music to our blog in the coming weeks.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for messages coming your way from MacGregor and Reinland.
