April 26, 2020 Rev. Cornie Sawatzky

Our second worship service for this morning comes from the MacGregor Sommerfeld Church with Pastor Cornie Sawatzky and a special feature of a children’s story done by Cornie’s wife Cheryl. A special thanks to the church at MacGregor for the faithful service, not only to the local congregation, but also the entire conference during this crisis. To everyone who has been blessed by the messages, I encourage you to click on the “Comment” link below that day’s posting. The ministerial, musicians, songleaders, and sound/recording people that make this ministry happen are just as human as the rest of us. They also appreciate a word of encouragement now and then.

Today is the last Sunday of the month which the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church congregations call ‘Mission Sunday” where the offerings received are designated to missions outreach. Some of the members are inquiring how their gifts may be given to the church. If your local church has not instructed otherwise, then please mail donations to your respective local church address. In this manner the treasurer from each congregation can look after distributing the funds in an appropriate manner. Please mark your gifts if they are meant for a specific cause. May the Lord bless the giver and the gift to His honor! 2 Cor. 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
